The Easiest Way To Make Your Own Baby Shower Invites
Ok, so you made a decision to make customised hand-crafted invitations for an approaching baby shower party? Then you know that the best part about organizing a party for a friend or family member is to show that you care.
We'll give you some pointers that will help you make outstanding home-made baby shower invitations, but don't forget to always put your personal touch and let your talent loose while making them. Humanities and crafts can be heaps of fun, but you'll need to put a considerable amount of time in them. We'll take for instance a duck-themed baby shower, which is also an ideal thought for either a boy or a girl. Of course, you can always create the invites with assistance from design software and just print them out on thick, higher quality paper that will look way better than regular printer paper.

First you must find pictures that relate to the theme (in this situation, we'll use a photo of a nice yellow rubber duckling). We'll trace it using special tracing paper (go for one of at least 30grs) and pencil. It's best to get the outline down first without pressing the pencil too much, and then drawing over each line with a thick black marker. Coloring tracing paper can be tons of fun if done right, and here is how: you don't want to paint on the same side where you drew the duck with the marker. Instead, turn the paper around and paint the back side with yellow pencil colors.
If you have the kind that are labeled 'watercolor', just dip the point of the pencil in water and paint afterwards : you will see how the water doesn't get absorbed by the tracing paper, and it all appears seamless and neat when you turn the paper around. The best part of using thick markers for drawing the outline is that if you go over the lines a bit, when you turn the paper you don't have to worry too much as it possibly will not show at all! Just cut the drawing and paste it on the corner of your invite card and voila!
