Little Mermaid Show

The plot of the movie is that Princess Ariel a mermaid longs and takes much interest in the human world although her father King Triton is against it. But still Ariel wanders sometimes to the surface and collects different human ornaments. She is accompanied by her fish friend Flounder. One day she stumbles upon the birthday celebrations of Prince Eric a human. She falls in love with Prince Eric.
While the speech is being made lightning strikes and the gunpowder in the ship explodes throwing Prince Eric into the sea. Ariel saves his life and leads him ashore but when Eric is about to wake up she dives back into the sea. Eric catches a glimpse of her and vows to find the amazing girl who rescued him and saved his life. By now Ariel has fallen in love with the prince and also promises that she will be with him again someday.
Afterwards her father and sisters are worried about Ariels weird behavior not knowing she has fallen in love. Sebastian the crab tries to impress Ariel with his music but Ariel wanders of with her friend Flounder where the fish shows her a statue of Eric that had previously been revealed on his Birthday. Meanwhile an angry Triton who knows all of Ariels secrets due to Sebastian's confession, confronts his daughter and destroys numerous of her favorite ornaments and Erics statue. Ariel is very sad and taking advantage of the opportunity two eels Flotsam and Jetsam consult the mermaid to visit Ursula the sea witch and that she is the only one who can help her.
Ursula helps Ariel but makes a deal that she would remain a human for only three days during which she has to kiss Prince Eric if she does not then she would become a slave of hers. Furthermore she would also have to give Ursula her voice. Ariel is transformed into a human and is helped by Scuttle the seagull with the transition from a mermaid to a human. Eric finds her but finding out she can t speak knows that this cannot be the girl who saved him.
Ariel starts living in the palace and comes close to kissing Eric with the help of her friends but the two eels always manage to cause trouble. Ursula takes m matters into her hands and taking Ariels voice transforms into a human. She enchants Eric and they are to be married but Ursulas planned is ruined when Ariel and her animal friends help in breaking the crystal that contains Ariels voice transforming Ursula back into her old self. Ursula demands that Ariel become her slave as per the deal but Triton sacrifices himself instead. Ursula becomes the new Queen of the sea. But due to Erics love for Ariel he kills Ursula when she is about to kill Ariel with the trident. Everything reverts back to normal and Triton changes Ariel into a human and Eric and Ariel get married.
This Disney flick grossed over 99 million worldwide and was the reemergence of Disney after many commercial failures in the early 1980s.
