40th Birthday Gifts: Save Time and Shop Online!

Turning 40 isn’t a worrisome proposition any more. Unlike the old times where our moms and grand moms thought of reaching 40 as being middle aged, today being 40 is considered as the point where true fun begins. These days, most 40 year olds take care of their appearances and make sure that they look as young and vibrant as a 20 year old! So, when you choose a birthday gift for a 40 year old, keep this new attitude change in mind. Let me tell you what I did for my 40^th birthday celebrations. I had recently had a break up and wasn’t in any mood to have fun. I still remember looking at the bathroom mirror and feeling sorry for myself. It was a very old and worn out woman staring back at me and that depressed me further. Hmm, not a very good start to my fourth decade on planet earth! But, things did change for the better as the day progressed

I decided to stop pitying myself and get on with the day. I dressed up, put on a happy face and went out with my amazing girl gang. They knew my state of mind and were hell bent on cheering me up on my special day. First it was a round of Cowboys and then the real fun started when one of the girls insisted on pinning the “Kiss Me. Its My Birthday” badge on my shirt sleeve. I was literally wearing my heart on my sleeve and then the celebrations and fun started in right earnest. We partied through the night and what a great party that was !

My other fabulous 40th birthday gifts included gorgeous fun & funky toasting champagne glasses engraved with Happy Birthday 40 and Foxy Flirtatious and Fun! After a few martini's that description certainly described me to a tee! And plenty of hot guys came up and planted one on me all night long thanks to my terrific 40 birthday badge! I also received perfume, a cute beanie teddy and some fabulous stationery including a gorgeous 40th birthday pen which I will most certainly be hiding away from my kids! They won’t get their hands on this very special pen, that’s for sure! All in all we had a fantastic night.

Other gifts I received include a vouchers for 40 year olds booklet from my son’s girl-friend as she thought I could appreciate the humor in it. Basically, you shouldn’t be worried about turning 40. It’s a great age and you need to celebrate it! So, go ahead and pamper yourselves with a good bra and an expensive makeup set! You truly deserve it.

Actually I often look fondly at the photos of my friends and I from that great night out which are displayed in my beautiful, brushed silver tone, diamante encrusted flip album - a present of course. I wonder what mischief we will get up to for the next 40th which is happening in two months time! I’d better get online and find some fabulous 40th birthday gifts and accessories because I do believe I am the party organizer for this fabulous 40^th event!
